KoreaChecker — Terms of Service
Last updated: July 12, 2026 · Operator: DSK (KoreaChecker), Republic of Korea
1. The Service
KoreaChecker provides (a) product check services in Korea — on-site visits or
mail-in reviews with photos, videos and honest opinions delivered via in-app chat — and
(b) arrangement of official inspections performed by registered Korean inspection
companies. Reviews and opinions are professional observations made at the time and place
of the check; they are not a guarantee, certification or warranty of the product.
2. Orders, Quotes and Payment
- All work starts from a quote you approve in the app. The quote states the scope and cost.
- Payment is made in advance via the payment link we send. We hold your payment
and release it to the field worker only after you confirm completion in the app.
- Extra requests beyond the quoted scope may incur additional charges, which we will
quote before proceeding.
- For on-site checks, you must inform the seller in advance that our agent will visit.
- For mail-in reviews, shipping the item to us is at your cost; return shipping,
if requested, is also at your cost.
3. Completion
When the work is done you will be notified and asked to confirm completion. If you do
not confirm or raise an issue in the chat within 7 days of delivery of the results,
the order is deemed completed and payment is released.
4. Refunds
Refunds are based on objective criteria:
- Refundable: the service was not performed; the agreed scope was materially
missed; the agreed deadline was exceeded due to our fault; material factual errors
in the delivered results (we may instead redo the work at our cost).
- Not refundable: dissatisfaction with the findings themselves (e.g., the
product turned out fine, or our honest opinion differs from your expectation);
changes of mind after work has started; delays caused by you or the seller.
5. Limitation of Liability
- Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost sales,
customs or letter-of-credit issues, market changes, etc.).
- Official certificates are issued by the registered inspection company named on the
document; the content of such certificates is the professional judgment of that issuer.
- Purchase decisions are yours; a favorable check does not guarantee commercial success.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate item, seller and contact information.
- Do not request checks of illegal, dangerous or counterfeit goods.
- Communication about orders takes place in the in-app chat; keep contact within the
service so we can protect both sides.
7. Account and Data
Use of the service requires an account with a verified email. Handling of personal data
is described in our Privacy Policy; account deletion is
available in the app (My Info) or at this page.
8. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We may update these
terms as the service evolves; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued
use after changes constitutes acceptance.
